Anyone want to make an easy $500? I’m looking to buy a piece of real estate, and since I know almost everyone who is reading this is driving around in Massachusetts, here’s the deal: keep your eyes open for neglected properties. Board-ups. Overgrown lawns. Condemned. Fire damage. UGLY houses. You get the idea. Just send me the street address including the city, and if I am able to put a deal together, you’ll get paid as soon as title changes. And you’ll get an extra twenty bucks if you speak with a neighbor and get the name and new phone number of the owner that took off.
Here’s what you need to AVOID:
• Houses in war zones. You know, graffiti, guys hanging out on street corners, every other house vacant, evidence of drugs or gangs, bars on windows.
• Houses with a realtor sign in front (homemade signs are OK—just take the number)
• Houses on main roads. Side streets only
• Houses with FHA/HUD signs
• Houses with dumpsters or temporary power hookups
